Mauro Del Santo is a designer d in Rome, Italy, with about ten years’ experience in developing furniture with innovative materials and last generation manufacturing technologies. UnSolid is the practical result of his research focused on unexpected morphologies generated by mathematical computations and innovative wood manufacturing technologies for Interior and ad Furniture Design.
The work includes lamps in the shape of surfaces engendered by parametric mathematical equations and developed to be produced in wood. A partition wall is also shown as a sample of a new technique Mauro developed to produce complex computer-generated geometries into surfaces for interiors such as partitions, walls, ceilings, seats and tables.
