Taking Fast Retailing group's four brands starting with Uniqlo into a 9,917 square meter structure, this extensive project takes on the interior design of Uniqlo Shanghai, the largest among all the brand's stores worldwide. Utilizing the bold spacial composite on that he has established with Uniqlo, Katayama also expresses, through the design, the brand's power in its ability to fulfill such a vast volume all on its own. The walls of the center atrium are clad in stainless mirror surfaces to reflect the four escalators and LED tickers, as well as the surrounding torsos to create a unique sense of openness and playfulness.
